O Virgin Pure

Idag, 31. mai er det flere Mariafester som sammenfaller, blant annet Marias gjesting hos Elisabeth, som vi nevner i et av mysteriene i rosenkransen.
Derfor passer det seg med en Maria-hymne:
 

Agni Parthene (Αγνή Παρθένε) er en liturgisk salme skrevet av den hellige Nektarios fra Aegina. (1846–1920) Innholdet er fra Theotokarion, en bok med hymner til Guds mor.
Den synges noen ganger i ortodokse kirker i begynnelsen av vesper.
